Message’s From
Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire teaching community on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2024!
Today, as we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan extends its deepest gratitude and respect to all educators.
Mrs. Shahida Parveen
Deputy Commissioner
Heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all on the auspicious occasion of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Foundation Day. As we celebrate the glorious Diamond Jubilee of our prestigious organization, it fills us with immense joy, enthusiasm, and pride to reflect upon the remarkable journey we have undertaken together. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the pivotal role this esteemed organization plays in fostering national unity, humanity, and prosperity through the power of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities. At KVS, our motto is: “Hiranmayen Patren Satyasyapihitam Mukham Tat Tvam Pushannapavrunu Satyadharmay Drishtaye.” Pupils must therefore acquire the knowledge and perspective necessary to overcome the allure of falsity and embrace Satyam Shivam Sundaram through the transformative power of education. As education continually evolves, KVS remains committed to adapting to change. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are currently implementing the New Education Policy-2020, a policy for the revitalization of India in the global context. It aligns with the needs of the times, society, and national culture. In addition to academic pursuits, activities such as sports, music, art, and dance are integral parts of Kendriya Vidyalayas’ curriculum. Utilizing our resources and the dedication of our teachers and staff, students are offered numerous platforms to shape their futures. As we embark on this journey forward, let us reaffirm our commitment to nurturing the next generation of responsible, compassionate, and empowered citizens. Together, let us continue to strive for excellence and contribute towards building a brighter future for our nation. With best wishes, Shahida Parveen

Kendriya Vidyalayas are considered as centres of excellence in the field of secondary and senior secondary education promoting national integration and promoting the spirit of Nationality among the children. It gives total focus on the overall development of the personality of the children. Swami Vivekananda said, “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man. Every child is special and is a storehouse of curiosity and thirst for learning. The only thing needed to educate a child is an enabling environment.” KV Dhule is a synonym for this environment. The teachers here are like tender gardeners. They know that the plant grows on its own. Their role is to remove thorns and weeds and to provide nourishment to tender minds. As one of you, I understand and appreciate the most difficult and challenging task before us. It is a matter of great pride for each of us to shape the destiny of a child. The main aim of education is to establish harmony in every individual in one’s own harmony with other living beings in the world. Hence our goal has always been personality enrichment through curricular and co-curricular activities. Teaching is much more than a career or a profession. It (teaching) is the most important responsibility to mould and shape the child into a responsible citizen. I am sure that my students will become productive, intelligent and honest citizens of the society. The active participation and cooperation of the parents will be extremely necessary to achieve the desired results. We strive to find newfound enthusiasm with excellent spirit so that in the present era of competition our students can be self-restrained and come out with flying colours.
